Beauty From Ashes is an Inclusive Outreach organization which empowers broken men and women from domestic abuse to a place of healing and wholeness through our love, care and personal concern. Also, by creating opportunities for enhancement by strengthening faith, family and confidence, and by offering various other means of assistance. Our program promotes and empowers individuals for entrepreneurship and other specialized careers, as they evolve into productive citizens.

1. When the partner/abuser have an explosive, and violent temper.
2. Be aware when the partner/abuser exhibits unpredictable behaviors, (for example) Cruelty to animal and children or friends and family.
3. Possessiveness, jealousy, imprisonment, or inflicting physical harm.
4. Forced sexual activity, and disregard for sexual boundaries.
5. Controlling behavior, micro managed all activities including dress attire.
6. Demand complete control over money, phones, and property requiring isolation from friends and family.
7. Being blamed for everything that goes wrong including workplace pressure.
8. Publicly shaming speaking cruel hurtful words sharply lashing out verbally or physically.
9. Contracting sexual transmitted diseases.
10. Abusing or asking you to take drugs, or medications that are not prescribed by your doctor.
11. With holding food or medications as a form of punishment or control.
12. Inflicting bodily injury such as slapping, kicking, punching, choking, pinching, or applying physical restraints.
13. Sexual Abuse & Coercion by requesting you have sex with others.
14. Contact that is unwanted and unwelcome.
15. Being forced to perform nudity, sexually explicit photography, and sodomy.
16. Mental & Emotional Abuse causing emotional or mental pain and anxiety resulting in lack of sleep.
17. Behaviors of emotional abuse include isolation, harassment, ridiculing, coercion, intimidation, silencing and controlling behaviors including work relationships.

Simply put, gaslighting is when the perpetrator constantly and dishonestly disputes your own accounts of your experiences, causing a growing sense of self-doubt and isolation. Being manipulated into questioning your sanity, decisions, or powers of reasoning.
